Monsoon Season
The Monsoon season officially starts June 15th and runs through September 30th. It is important to plan ahead and be safe during dust storms, heat, flooding and other safety issues that can arise.

Sun City Orientation
Whether you’re brand-new to Sun City or have proudly called the community home for many years, the Sun City Orientation is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about everything that makes Sun City such a unique and welcoming place to live.
Join us on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Sundial Recreation Center, located at 14801 N. 103rd Avenue in Sun City. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., and the meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. Attendees will learn how the community works, which organizations are responsible for various services, and why Sun City is proudly known as the “City of Volunteers.”
Representatives from the Sun City Posse, local homeowner organizations, recreation centers, museums, libraries, public safety agencies, senior services, and other community groups will also be present to share helpful information.
This is a great way to meet local leaders, discover valuable resources, connect with your neighbors, and find new ways to become involved in the community. Registration is available at www.SunCityHOA.org/SCRO.

SHRED-A-THON

Help protect your identity and securely dispose of personal, financial and other sensitive documents at the Sun City Posse Shred-A-Thon. Proper document destruction helps prevent confidential information from falling into the wrong hands while supporting a cleaner, safer and more responsible community.
Gather the papers you no longer need and bring them to this convenient community event on Saturday, October 24th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon at Posse Headquarters, 10861 W Sunland Dr., Sun City, AZ 85351.

DRUG TAKE BACK

Proper medication disposal helps prevent accidental ingestion, misuse and unsafe storage while keeping medications out of household trash and the community environment.
