R.U. OK

This is a program provided by Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). The Posse is not a provider for the program; however, we do assist MCSO by signing up Sun City residents for the program. For more information or to sign up, you may contact the Posse Chaplain at 623-972-2555 Ext. 132.

What is it?

R. U. OK allows a computer to call your home every day to ensure that you are not experiencing difficulties. If you answer the call and press “1” on your phone, the system will assume you are ok. If you do not answer the call, the system automatically displays an alarm. The alarm will be dispatched to the local public safety agency who will then come to your home to check on your welfare.

Who is eligible?  

Anyone who lives in Maricopa County may sign up.

What is the cost?

No charge for this service. You must have a cell phone or landline.
